The PBL Movement Conference brings together innovative school leaders to further the goal to see 51% of schools implement Project Based Learning by 2051.
Join the conference in one of four tracks:
Emerging Schools Track (2-days): School leadership teams will walk through a proven process to design, plan, and build capacity for a 3-year PBL Implementation Plan.
PBL Jumpstart Track (3-days): Teachers will complete their first PBL unit in their grade level/content area. Participants will leave with the experiences and tools to create additional PBL units after the conference.
PBL Advanced Track (3-days): Teachers will reflect on their first year of PBL implementation and go deeper in their PBL practice. Participants will dive deeper into PBL and reflect on their current PBL practice.
PBL Certification Track (3-days): Teachers will begin the process of PBL Certification with the guidance of a PBL Certification expert. You will collect and submit evidence and artifacts for each domain of the Certification Checklist, along with reflections outlining how the evidence reflects fulfillment of each Certification indicator.

The Emerging PBL Schools Track is for innovative leadership teams ready to move toward a PBL Movement at their school. Strong leadership teams know you don't just want something that works...you want a plan that will last. Come create a 3-year plan of PBL implementation that ensures momentum!

READINESS INDICATORS:
Staff members are eager to implement PBL and the practices that support it, and necessary systems and structures are in place within the school to support PBL implementation.
Educators recognize the elements of a positive school culture and desire to integrate Project Based Learning structures as well, to positively impact student success rates.
Leadership team recognizes the value of a PBL mentorship and desires the benefits of a PBL Training and Coaching relationship.
Working alongside other innovative educators can be inspirational while also providing accountability.

PBL JUMPSTART
Individuals or Small Teams
PBL Jumpstart is a perfect experience for those looking to build their first PBL Unit to implement right away! Learn in a collaborative group that will follow the best practices of Project Based Learning.
CONFERENCE OUTCOMES:
You will leave with a standards-based PBL Unit ready to implement.
You will learn the processes and structures to build future PBL Units.
You will receive training, feedback, and insight from PBL Certified Trainers.
You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the PBL Process and Core Components.
PBL ADVANCED
Individuals or Small Teams
Reflect on your first year of PBL implementation and go deeper in your PBL practice. Participants will dive deeper into PBL and reflect on their current PBL practice.
CONFERENCE OUTCOMES:
Reflect on past PBL practice and set goals for year two.
Create a standards-based PBL Unit and accompanying Assessment Plan.
Receive training, feedback, and insight from PBL Certified Trainers who are experienced Project Based Learning teachers.
PBL Certified Trainers will model a second set of learning structures for team and culture building, and equip participants to use those structures with adults and students.
Leave the workshop with a PBL action plan and tangible next steps for achieving deeper PBL implementation in the classroom.
Develop a plan to weave SEL principles into PBL, such as Reflection and Growth Mindset.
PBL CERTIFICATION
Individuals or Small Teams
PBL Certification is your next step towards mastery! Participants will begin the process of PBL Certification with the guidance of a PBL Certification expert.
CONFERENCE OUTCOMES:
Reflect on the continued development of PBL practices in the classroom.
Receive guidance through the PBL Certification Process Checklist from experienced PBL Certification Reviewers.
Gain tools and resources for collecting and reflecting on required PBL artifacts.
Certification Reviewers model the feedback and review structures that will usher the candidate through the PBL Certification Process.
Establish Benchmarks for completing the PBL Certification Process over the course of the following school year.
Create a Curriculum Map that reflect a comprehensive and sustainable PBL practice.
